The main body fabric of the Beau pack is a 900D RPET recycled poly. It’s a custom developed, tactical grade fabric that utilizes a recycled yarn called Reboyarn. This material combines class-leading durability, hand-feel and look with the sustainability our team and customers demand.
Its rigorously tested for superior durability, resistance to the elements and UV fading. Because a backpack is only as durable as its exterior fabric, we searched far and wide for a sustainable material we could stake our reputation on. We think you’ll love it.
glove-friendly zipper PULLERS
The most important part of a bag is its zipper. Zippers are the workhorse that keeps your bag in service, or if it fails, relegates it to the trash. We use top-quality reversed zippers, including coated zipper tape on all digital pockets.
In keeping with our tactical quality standard, our zippers are tested rigorously and are self-repairing and highly resistant to failure. Our custom pullers are tactile AND easy to grab - even with gloves.
Water-resistant ZIPPERS
The front device pocket and built in laptop sleeve both feature water resistant zippers. While not totally waterproof (few zippers really are), they do an amazing job of repelling pouring rain and accidental splashes.
In concert with our WR-treated 900D RPET body fabric and triple layer material stack (fabric/foam/lining), you can be sure your stuff will be dry in even the most harsh conditions.
nylon eva-padded carry handle
Security and comfort are the two attributes we most appreciate in a carry handle. The EVA padding in our tubular webbing handle has just the right amount of stiffness to feel secure while preserving a great hand feel, which helps when the bag is really heavy.
The top handle is double secured to the bag with bartacks and box-stitched reinforcements to make sure it never breaks.
non-toxic peva linings
The changing pad and insulated pouches of a Beau pack are lined with waterproof and non-toxic PEVA. This material is time-tested and used far and wide as the industry as a standard lining for water-resistance and low toxicity.
PEVA is frequently used to line insulated lunch boxes. Its also safe for your baby’s skin, and spray-cleanable. you can trust it with your baby, or your other baby (your laptop).

Trust us here: this is the some of the best hardware on the market. its lightweight, strong and durable, and used far and wide in the highest spec outdoor gear. broken hardware is one of the most common reason packs fail. We virtually eliminated the problem by using these guys, you’re welcome.
100% RECYCLEABLE PACKAGING
Our packs are shipped in fully recyclable packaging, including an ultralight 32-ECT corrugated box, and a durable branded LDPE-4 re-sealable pouch. This all helps ensure that your gear is protected from our HQ to yours. All of these packaging elements can be recycled with common recycling methods, and the resealable pouch is so nice you could even keep it for use as a storage bag in your closet. It will keep whatever is inside protected and fresh for years.
