advanced ergonomics
Our articulated backpanel hugs your hips and back, increasing stability and comfort especially as the pack gets heavier. It’s designed to be extraordinarily comfortable, regardless of how heavy the pack gets. Carryology called it “bonkers comfortable”. We totally agree.
Flexible but supportive, its plush PU foam pads are placed in just the right spots so the Beau pack feels amazing, and will hold up for years, and feel as comfortable then as it was on day one. We use PU foam and EVA foam together for unmatched comfort.
wet/dry baby wipes pocket
The R1 pack features a built-in, welded edge wet pocket right in front of the pack. It has two primary uses: as a water-resistant pocket to keep damp stuff separate from the rest of your gear (for a couple of hours), and as a dry-case to keep moisture away from sensitive items like small electronics. You can put a small* wipes refill directly in here for easy access.
The wet pocket is made from the same non-toxic waterproof PEVA coated material as the linings in our folding changing pad and accessory pouch. the access zipper is water resistant. Its the most efficient way to access wipes, perfect for when you need all the help you can get.
*holds refill sizes up to 36 wipes/pack, use packs of 18-24 for a perfect fit.
3d laptop protection
The rear laptop section of the Beau pack is designed to hold the included changing pad/laptop sleeve accessory and is padded with plush Polyurethane padding on all sides. For added protection there is an EVA foam crash-pad at the bottom, under the whole section. Its basically a foam bumper that sits directly below your laptop when stored inside the pack.
This feature ensures a soft landing for hard drops, and cushions regular transport considerably. The entire laptop section is closed off from the elements with a water resistant coated zipper with locking custom sliders. Its not necessary to use our separate laptop sleeve to protect your laptop fully. This built-in pocket provides sufficient protection for your machine.

Pad segments stabilized by a PE plastic stiffening sheet allows the Beau Pack to hold up air chimneys in between them, activating a cooling effect whereby hot air is piped up and away from the back, while cool air is drawn in from the bottom. Its insanely comfortable in even the most humid weather.
In combination with our ergonomic straps and chest compression strap, it all adds up to a supremely comfortable carrying experience that keeps your back aerated and pack stable, regardless of how full it is packed or how heavy it is.
padded 9-pocket organizer
The organizer panel of a Beau pack has an easy access zip pocket and a full 10” zippered lining pocket behind three padded pockets with pen slots. Our lining is typically used as an exterior fabric, so its tough, durable and water resistant. It provides incredible organization for all of your baby gear.
Because we designed the pack to be as good at everyday use (EDC) as baby care, you’ll find a place for everything. The padded slip pockets are particularly nice. They are just as good at holding teethers and snacks as they are at protecting hard drives.
Load stabilizing straps
The straps of the Beau pack feel fresh and plush every time you put it on because of quick rebound EVA padding. Utilizing EVA and PU foam (on bottom), wrapped with custom air-mesh, we implemented a specially layered stack of foams to ensure both stability and softness. All you need to know is it feels like a dream.
The straps include an adjustable chest compression system and an invisible 4-way elastic mesh earbuds/airtag pocket. You can also fit a pacifier in there, but thats up to you. The straps are connected to the pack with one piece attachment, ensuring years of reliable service. This airpods pocket lays flat when not in use, making it nearly invisible.
Tubular webbing eva handle
Theres nothing quite like a really good carry handle. Often its the only thing connecting you and your bag. Ours inspires confidence because its very robust, and very comfortable to hold. Its the type of haul handle you want to hold.
EVA memory foam inside tubular nylon webbing makes a handle you can trust. Its bar tacked on both sides, and box stitched down for good measure. Between our handle and your hand, we’d bet on your hand giving way first.
